The Pure Heart

Matthew 8:1-3
 ¹ When Jesus came down from the hill, large crowds followed him.² Then a man suffering from a dreaded skin disease came to him, knelt down before him, and said,
         Sir, if you want to, you can make me clean.^[a]
 3 Jesus reached out and touched him.
         I do want to, he answered.
         Be clean! At once the man was healed of his disease.

I think of that as our hearts.  If Jesus wants he can make our hearts clean.  And He wants to make our hearts clean!  He wants to make us clean!  And not just halfway but all the way so that he can come and live there. In Matthew 5:8 it says, "Happy are the pure in heart for they shall see God." So only those with a pure heart will see God and none others. Wow that's amazing.

           But how do you get a pure heart ? By coming to Jesus.
