Well, the Lord was good to us yesterday.
We have some cows in our field. And we were going to go out there yesterday to play boats in our creek and we took the little ones with us all of them except Jireh. We took the red wagon for them to ride in. We had a nice time at the creek but after a while the little ones and I decided to go to the house. There was a hill in front of the creek, and after going that far, I was glad to take a rest. But soon I hear Charity scream, ''Sissy, wake up, THE BULL!"
I took the wagon handle and just ran as fast as I could. I got to the gates. I was puffing as I tried to open them. I said, "Charity, you watch -- tell me if you see the bull coming".
The gates were stuck on one little notch. I tried as hard as I could. But soon I heard Charity yell, "Sis, the bull!"
I stopped trying, grabbed Charity, and put her in the barn. Out there in the wagon, Jeremiah started to scream and cry. I was pale and wordless as I picked him up and ran for the barn. I leaned against the doors, then turned to the little ones and I told them to pray. And pray they did. We all did.
Minutes later, I peeked through the barn door. The bull was standing right there! I said, "We're stuck in here till someone comes to help us." So I told them to keep praying for God to send someone to help us. Presently, I hear the "creak, creak" of the the fence and, "What's wrong guys?" It was Arrow! And Arrow coming had scared the bull, so the bull retreated a few steps. Then Arrow opened the barn door and I told him what happened. He said he would give the bull his punishment. So he picked up a stone and threw it. That alone scared the bull into the back pasture.
That was the story of my relief. God really helped us that time.
